Character Set

Top Workplaces approached me to create a set of characters which would support the Top Workplaces brand. The 12 characters had to represent different professions, sexes and races; Chef, Media Manager, Banker, Doctor, Business Woman, Construction Worker, Techie, Lab Technican, Teacher, Retailer, Business Man and Factory Worker.

The characters had to be simple and friendly and have a unique style.

The characters were used on the Top Workplaces Website: www.topworkplaces.com and on printed newspaper adverts all across the USA.

Simplicity was the key with these characters. The initial illustrations had much more detail, which was simplfied to create a much more stylised "Japanese" illustration style.

Supereight Studio (my company) were involved with providing psd templates for the Top Workplaces website.

We still have an ongoing relationship with Top Workplaces and we are currently working with them to develop a new look and feel for the Workplace Dyanamics website.
